QA/QC Supervisor - Radiology
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports directly to the Senior Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology. Performs radiographic procedures in Diagnostic Radiology, applying principles of radiation protection, when appropriate. Demonstrates managerial and leadership skills. Ensures all radiology employees are knowledgeable in quality control and quality imaging. Establishes and conducts departmental quality in-services and implements/monitors departmental CQI plan. Promotes the University Health Guest Relations Policy. Ensures adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and practices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). License from the State of Texas (MRT). CPR Certification Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) graduate or related certificate program preferred
