Affordable Medical, Dental and Vision Plans
It is imperative to us that all employees have access to comprehensive health care choices when it comes to cost, coverage and physicians. All full-time and part-time employees who work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance plans for them and your eligible dependents. Employees and dependents on the University Family Care Plan can receive prescription medications with no co-pays or deductibles at University Health pharmacy locations.
Employer-Paid Malpractice Insurance
UMA offers occurrence malpractice coverage. Occurrence coverage applies to claims for incidents that happened while the policy was active, regardless of when the claimant seeks compensation. No tail coverage is necessary if you leave the group.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Program
It can be challenging balancing work, family, school and other personal responsibilities. Everyone’s needs are different and our progressive approach to time off provides flexibility to plan your work and personal life. Eligible employees begin accruing PTO hours from the first day of employment.
