Security Analyst

What you will do:

• Assist the Bio-Medical and Radiology teams with vendor liaison relating to operating system vulnerability scanning, patching, and rebooting for FDA-controlled software and devices. Track various vedor metrics and response times to help quantify UH risks.
• Work closely with the other information security analysts for the day-to-day monitoring of the UH environment, use and maintenance of all UH security tools and processes, and reponse to customer issues and requests.
• Help conduct evaluations on emerging products, vendors, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts throughout the enterprise.
• Work closely with the oher information security analysts and the rest of the IT staff to safeguard sensitive data and the UHS computing environment.

What we require:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of experience in information technology and three or more years of experience in information security
• Information security certification required
