Senior Computer Tomography Technologist
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and coordinates the operation and performance of the Computerized Tomography (CT) Imaging Section in coordination with professional staff, chief radiologist, assistant directors and/or director of Radiology. Performs administrative and patient care duties directly related to CT. Ensures the prompt and efficient performance of all CT procedures. Keeps abreast of new technical concepts and disseminates departmental information. Supports the Health System’s policies, values and guest relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Advanced certification in CT and Licensed by the Texas Medical Board required (MRT) are required. BSRT or similar Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Three years CT experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
