University Medicine Associates is the multi-specialty group of University Health. We provide a full scope of comprehensive patient-centered care from the outpatient to inpatient settings. With more than 30 locations in the San Antonio area (and growing!), our team of clinicians is always close by to help patients manage common and complex medical issues. And when you or your loved ones need hospital-level care, our team at University Hospital and the Women’s & Children’s Hospital is available to take care of you.

Our larger ambulatory centers house all ancillary services (lab, pharmacy, radiology) under one roof. This eliminates the need for patients to travel between offices to get the care they need.

University Health uses Epic, the electronic medical record system, in our inpatient and outpatient settings. This way, members of a care team can access a patient’s records, view referrals, order labs/imaging and more. In fact, our providers can access a patient’s medical records from any other health system in the nation that uses Epic. This makes the continuation of care easier for a patient who has been transferred to University Health.

We accept all forms of insurance, including private, Medicaid, Medicare and CHIP. We also accept CareLink, a form of financial assistance for University Health patients who don’t qualify for other health coverage. We are committed to providing care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
