Assistant Director of Patient Care Services

POSITION SUMMARY           
Provides supervision, training, and direction to assigned staff while monitoring performance across programs on Sky Tower 9th Floor (9ACU, 9ICU, Central Monitoring Unit) and Sky 7 ICU. Supports daily operational productivity by coordinating patient care activities and managing role-specific clinical functions as assigned by the Executive Director. Collaborates with staff at all levels to optimize clinical efficiency, enhance patient safety, improve staff satisfaction, and streamline operational workflows. Identifies challenges within existing procedures and leverages professional expertise to implement necessary decisions and formal changes. Upholds and promotes the Health System’s mission, purpose, goals, objectives, and commitment to service excellence.    

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Current RN licensure.  Master’s degree required. Five years of related, progressively responsible health care experience is required. Two years of managerial and/or leadership experience is required. Experience working with Transplant, CT Surgery, Cardiology and/or Medicine patients is preferred.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas is required. National Nursing Certification is required. Must maintain CPR certification.
