Enterprise Systems Architect

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

            Perform tasks as related to the service delivery of the critical enterprise environments. Responsible for Tier 3, complex problem resolution. Ensures information integrity and availability by applying best practice support across all storage, network, and system platforms as required. Establishes information backup and restoral policies and ensures compliancy with Disaster Recovery requirements. Responsible for the administration and support of storage arrays, network switches, firewalls, and datacenter equipment. Monitoring and reporting on storage health and performance, capacity management and planning creation and management of backup policies, and verification of daily backups.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

                        A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is preferred. 7 years of related experience, or an associate’s degree and 2 years related experience, may be substituted for preferred education/experience. Professional certifications from one of the following preferred: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Experience in multiple vendor and platform environments is preferred.
