Research Coordinator
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Research Coordinator supports the Clinical Research Director through coordination, monitoring, and education of processes required for Research Proposals within University Health.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree is required, Master’s Degree Preferred. A working knowledge of research methods and knowledge of federal regulations regarding human subject research is required. Must be an intermediate level user of Microsoft Access. Expertise in applying research protocols, budgeting, program planning and evaluation is preferred. Exercises mature judgment and discretion in any confidential or sensitive matters.
ACCURACY
Must be proficient in organizing, examining data and be able to produce clear and concise reports. Must display thoroughness in gathering and reporting information. Familiarity with computer software, databases, the internet, good writing and oral skills are essential. Must be flexible and be able to relate well with a variety of people. Must be knowledgeable in management applications and be able to expand and apply applicable skills in the work setting.
