General Responsibilities:

  • This role will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the Epic Operations Division and will be responsible for assisting & supporting the Deputy CIO (Epic Operations) with the IT portfolios, programs, and projects.
  • Will work directly with VPs, Directors, appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate new products for implementation, perform IT discovery and high level project cost analysis.
  • Assists with the successful planning and execution of multiple projects, of all sizes and scope, across the UH enterprise.
  • Will establish, implement, develop, and control best practices for Epic Operations project management.  This includes defining and documenting all policies and processes of project lifecycles in order to deliver these projects according to plan and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Management of Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Six (6) years in a PM-related role/expertise.
  • At least eight (8) years of technology experience demonstrating formal IT management competencies, including three years managing a technology team.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred.
