Vice President, Neurosciences
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Neurosciences provides executive leadership for the system-wide neuroscience service line, encompassing strategic planning, clinical integration, operational management, growth initiatives, and financial performance. This role collaborates with hospital and medical group executives to align neuroscience services with University Health’s long-term vision, driving excellence in patient outcomes, research, education, and market growth. The Vice President of Neurosciences develops strong partnerships with providers and community stakeholders to elevate neuroscience care delivery. Ensures compliance, fiscal responsibility, and best-in-class service delivery across all neuroscience programs and affiliated departments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of ten years progressive leadership experience in neurosciences services or hospital administration, including operational and financial oversight.
LICENSURE
If applicable, current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas is required.
