Corporate SquarePOSITION SUMMARY
Manages and operates Refugee Health program and other grants funded initiatives. Overlooks daily clinical operations, monitors fiscal and operational variances, internal and external reporting, contract compliance, optimizes clinical efficiency and improves operational workflow as necessary. Recognizes problems with existing procedures and employs professional knowledge to make necessary decisions and formal changes. Works with staff at all levels to facilitate high quality, cost effective care for Refugee patient population and other patients served by grants funded programs, adhering to University Health and United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants regulations and other State and Federal funding agencies. Adheres to funding agencies’ requirements and monitors grant funded activities for compliance. Performs assigned duties efficiently while coordinating additional departmental responsibilities related to programs and complying with instructions from supervisor. Promotes the Health System’s mission, vision, values, purpose, goals, objectives and commitment to service excellence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in a health-related field is required, doctorate preferred. Experience in obtaining extramural funding for health care programs and community initiatives projects is preferred. Knowledge of analytical and investigative techniques sufficient to identify current methodologies and conduct evaluations of the effectiveness of the results is preferred.
