Director, Regulatory Oversight
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regulatory Oversight Director oversees all regulatory compliance requirement activities of the Facilities Management (FM) Department. Directly responsible for regulatory compliance, process improvement, change management, productivity improvement, and development of cohesive teams. Applies sound fiscal and productivity programs that comply with procurement policies and practices. This position will be a member of the FM Operations, with direct supervision of hospital Regulatory Oversight Teams, Electricians, Fire Safety Technicians and CMMS staff.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in Management, Business or related field and CHFM certifications preferred. Experience and certifications can be considered in lieu of education. Five years of management experience with Healthcare regulatory compliance preferred. Data analysis and statistical analysis experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Experience in organizational or strategic planning is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency and effectiveness in problem-solving and implementing new programs related to increased departmental operating accuracy, efficiency, and organizational risk reduction. Must be proficient in the use CMMS and Microsoft Office tools to accurately report on regulatory activities and performance metrics.
