Health Educator
Robert B Green CampusPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Health Educator works with the Get FIT Program Manager to educate eligible women about cervical cancer and cervical cancer screening. The Health Educator is responsible for conveying basic health information about these topics and directing members to further resources.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required. Two years of experience in an inpatient, ambulatory or community setting is preferred. Experience in public speaking and/or educational presentations demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English/Spanish fluency is required. Additional credentials (CDE, CHW, CHES) are beneficial. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License, auto liability insurance, and a reliable automobile.
