Human Resources Information Systems Analyst
Business Center 1POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources HRIS Analyst researches, analyzes, designs, and maintains systems in support of Human Resources administration that are essential to the operations of University Health. Monitors Human Resources data information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet the internal and external requirements. Must be thorough and accurate in testing and implementation of database changes. Participates in Human Resources projects, events, and activities as assigned. Provides administrative support for all the University Health insurance plans for employees and house staff. Assists plan participants in the determination of benefit plan provisions and limitations. Processes and audits insurance invoices, claim reports and identifies errors and trends. Responsible for a working knowledge of legislative issues and laws that affect benefit administration. Assists all employees, visitors and callers in a manner that is consistently courteous, professional, responsive, timely and accurate.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ degree in human resources or related field is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources and HRIS database maintenance is required. Experience with database management and report building in Excel is required.
