Program Coordinator
Corporate SquarePOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Executive Director and Program Manager of the Institute for Trauma Informed Care with the implementation of the trauma-informed Bexar County certification training plan. Duties include training, program implementation, external marketing and reporting. Supports staff with research on ACES training, trauma awareness, awareness of the effects of trauma, and trauma informed care. Will provide technical assistance and certification support to all community agencies interested in certification. Must be knowledgeable about the impact of trauma on health and the importance of trauma informed care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, health services, or related field with 3 years of experience in project coordination and implementation. Demonstrated proficiency in navigating PCs and advanced proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience preferred with process flows, policies and procedures development, analysis, documentation skills, and service-oriented.
