Senior Community Outreach Specialist
The Oaks IIPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES 
Serves as a liaison between CareLink and the community, grant programs, and other University Health System departments. Assists and supports outreach and education efforts of CareLink programs at special community events, educational presentations, and preventive and wellness programs to provide information and educate the community at large about CareLink and its programs. Collaborates with other University Health System programs and community partners to identify opportunities and services that meet the needs of CareLink members. 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in health education or a social science is preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in community health promotion, volunteer activity coordination, or other preventive health programs in a community health setting is preferred. Experience in public and/or educational presentations, individually or in groups, demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English/Spanish fluency is highly preferred. 
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION 
A valid Texas State DL operator’s license “Class A” and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
