Spiritual Care Manager
University HospitalPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises staff and coordinates functions essential to the operations of the Spiritual Care Department. Facilitates spiritual and emotional care to culturally diverse patients, families, and staff. Promotes the University Health strategic plan.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in divinity required. Four units of clinical pastoral education through an ACPE accredited CPE center is required. Three years of previous experience in a leadership role involving a religious/spiritual setting required. Five years’ experience in a healthcare facility is required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Board certified chaplaincy accredited by the Association of Professional Chaplains or Equivalent is required. Current pursuit of certification with expected completion date is acceptable.
