Employee Relations Coordinator
Business Center 1A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Employee Relations Coordinator to join University Health's Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys employee relations, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and employment law while supporting organizational compliance and delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience preparing professional Human Resources documentation, including writing and revising position statements for unemployment claims, employment-related investigations, and other regulatory or administrative matters. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet critical deadlines are essential.
Position Summary
The Employee Relations Coordinator is responsible for preparing the official Health System responses to Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Civil Rights Division unemployment and wage claims, ensuring accurate, well-written, and timely submissions while adhering to strict regulatory deadlines.
This position assists with the investigation and administrative coordination of employee concerns, Integrity Services Hotline calls, and other reportable workplace issues. The Coordinator also partners with the Employee Relations Manager to support leaders with employee relations matters, personnel policy interpretation, and employment law guidance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Two years of related Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of employee relations practices and applicable employment regulations is required.
- Experience preparing professional position statements and other formal written responses for regulatory agencies, unemployment claims, investigations, or employee relations matters is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines.
