Archivist and Art Program Manager
University HospitalUniversity Health is seeking an experienced and passionate Archivist to help preserve and share our rich history while engaging and inspiring our community. This role plays a key part in acquiring, maintaining, and showcasing our permanent collection of documents, artifacts, and works of art.
Position Summary
The Archivist is responsible for the development, care, display, and interpretation of University Health’s archival collections. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to build meaningful relationships and ensure the collection supports education, engagement, and storytelling across the organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification in art, business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the arts
- At least 2 years of experience working with archival materials
- Experience managing staff and budgets required
- Strong connection to the local art community, including project management experience with major building initiatives
