Billing Coordinator
Business Center 1POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the daily review of billing for the Operating Room, MARC Ambulatory Center, Cardiac Cath Lab; Emergency Center; Trauma Code III, and other clinic/department areas. Major Functions include: supervision of billing, data charge entry, review hold-bills, coordinating with departments on billing errors and additional information required. Complies and reports progress on key indicators to staff and manager on a regular basis.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent required. College or commercial courses in related field preferred. Three years strong experience in third party billing or collections is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Hospital background is preferred.
