Executive Director, Therapy Program
University HospitalHelp shape rehabilitation services that support patients in regaining function and independence. University Health seeks an experienced rehabilitation leader to oversee Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation at Reeves Rehabilitation Center.
This role combines operational leadership, program development, and team management, with the opportunity to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and advance patient-centered care.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct daily operations of rehabilitation administration and therapy departments, ensuring efficient, cost-effective management of services.
- Provide administrative oversight of the Reeves Rehabilitation inpatient unit.
- Partner with the Vice President to plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate rehabilitation programs and services.
- Guide facility modifications and operational improvements that support evolving patient and program needs.
- Lead, supervise, and develop professional staff across rehabilitation disciplines.
- Promote a collaborative work environment that supports staff development, engagement, and high morale.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Appropriate professional certification and/or licensure.
- Five years of clinical experience.
- Five years of experience supervising professional staff in an interdisciplinary environment.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- Must hold and maintain current licensure or certification in the applicable area of practice—therapy and/or registered nursing—as issued by the appropriate governing board, agency, or organization.
Must maintain a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card for healthcare professionals.
