Field Engineer Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform tasks related to UH Enterprise environment which involve total service delivery of the following areas; IS project consultant and management internal to Information Services and external to other departments throughout UH regarding computer and Information Services related issues and needs. Direct management support for planning, installation, service and support of desktops, laptops, Thin Clients, mobile devices, Kronos Clocks, hospital television systems, local area network cabling, analog and digital phone installations and any other Information Services related devices needed or utilized within the UH work space. Responsible for complex problem resolution. Responsible for ensuring the approved Incident, Problem and Change Management policies are strictly followed. Ensures total service delivery by providing best practice support to users and the entire UH work space platforms as required. The person in this position is responsible for leading teams focused on evaluating, architecting, developing, planning, implementing, installing, servicing and supporting the work space environment in regards to all Information Services needs. Also responsible for monitoring and reporting on health and performance of the IT environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and five years of experience is required. 10 years of experience demonstrating increased levels of responsibility may be substituted for required education/experience.
